These sandals come ready threaded with a walnut cord. If you would like a different cord color, please order it separately.

With just under 3mm thickness, the Geniale Sandale is lightweight, comfortable and ideal for everyday wear, as a travel companion or emergency shoe.
The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant sole rubber from recycled rubber with puncture and slip-resistant profile. The thermoplasticity guarantees that the sandal will adapt to your foot over time to become a perfect likeness.
The surface is vegan leather, which meets all robustness requirements. It is UV and salt water resistant and has outstanding abrasion resistance.
When we say a material can withstand just about anything, we mean our vegan leather.
Originally developed for the medical sector, it not only complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 - Class 1, but is also a pioneer in biocompatibility, as well as being free of harmful substances.
As a lace we use Paracord - this is a thin, lightweight nylon kernmantle rope with a minimum breaking load of 249 kg (our sandals are not that heavy though) - ensuring a long life.

The ingenious sandal is quite wide. That's intentional!
This way you can trim them perfectly to your foot yourself. You can find the instructions here: Trimming
We recommend choosing a length 0.5–1 cm longer than your foot length. You can find the exact length measurements on the "Size Chart" page.
Should you require extra-wide sandals, or have any other individual requests, please feel free to write them in the comment field. A different size for the left and right foot is also possible!
ATTENTION: We cannot accept returns of sandals once they have been cut to size! Therefore, please be sure to test them thoroughly before cutting.
Please only try on the sandals indoors, and don't cut anything off yet - that's the only way you can return them to us.
To exchange, simply return the item postage paid to us, and include a small note with your name and the desired different size/color.
