With just under 3mm thickness, the Geniale Sandale is lightweight, comfortable and ideal for everyday wear, as a travel companion or emergency shoe.
The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant sole rubber from recycled rubber with puncture and slip-resistant profile. The thermoplasticity guarantees that the sandal will adapt to your foot over time to become a perfect likeness.
The surface is vegan leather, which meets all robustness requirements. It is UV and salt water resistant and has outstanding abrasion resistance.
When we say a material can withstand just about anything, we mean our vegan leather.
Originally developed for the medical sector, it not only complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 - Class 1, but is also a pioneer in biocompatibility, as well as being free of harmful substances.
Laces
As a lace we use Paracord - this is a thin, lightweight nylon kernmantle rope with a minimum breaking load of 249 kg (our sandals are not that heavy though) - ensuring a long life.Alternatively, you can also go for a hemp cord made from 100% natural hemp, or a leather cord.

The Geniale Sandale is quite wide. That is on purpose!
This way, you can cut them yourself perfectly to your own footshape. You can find the instructions on the page Lacing Instructions.
In the length we recommend you to take 0,5 - 1cm more than your own foot length. You can find the exact length on the page Sizing Chart.
If you need extra wide sandals or have other individual wishes, just write them in the comment field. It is also possible to have a different size on the left than on the right!
ATTENTION: Unfortunately, we can not take back the sandal after cutting! So be sure to test sufficiently before cutting.
Please only try the sandals indoors and don't cut anything off yet - this is the only way you can send them back to us.
For an exchange simply send it prepaid back to us, and enclose a small note with your name and the desired other size/color.
